"What kind of avian certifications does your team have?"

Our avian specialist is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Avian Practice and completed a dedicated residency in avian and exotic animal medicine.

"Do you see emergency exotic cases?"

Yes, we see emergency exotic cases. Emergencies can be particularly common in exotic companion animals because many species instinctively hide signs of illness until disease is significantly advanced. Our team is experienced in recognizing and managing the unique medical needs of exotic species and understands the specialized care these patients require. We also have advanced diagnostic capabilities available onsite, allowing us to quickly evaluate and begin treatment for many emergency conditions.

"Does my exotic pet need an annual examination?"

Yes! It is highly recommended that all pets receive a veterinary examination at least once a year. Routine wellness visits give us the opportunity to review your pet’s husbandry, nutrition, and overall care, answer any questions you may have, and perform a thorough physical examination. Regular veterinary visits can also help identify subtle or hidden health concerns before they become more serious.

"Can you perform surgery on my rabbit?"

Yes we can! We regularly perform surgeries on rabbits. Our team has extensive knowledge of rabbit anesthesia and surgery.

"Do you provide dental care for guinea pigs?"

Yes we do! We routinely perform guinea pig dental care, from tasks a simple as a sedated oral exam to dental radiographs to extractions and surgical management of abscesses.
